Tom Riddle Senior era um trouxa e, de acordo com Dumbledore, ele poderia ter sido afetado por uma poção do amor, como se ele fosse um bruxo. Talvez nem todas as poções funcionem exatamente da mesma forma para magos e trouxas, mas temos pelo menos um exemplo.
