Quanto a menções dela no anime, note que a mãe de Freeza é apenas referenciada no dub inglês de Dragon Ball Z , não no original (onde apenas um "pai" é mencionado). Pode muito bem ser que essa corrida tenha sido planejada para ser unissex, o que é uma possibilidade levantada aqui . No video game Budokai Tenkaichi 3 , há breves menções de uma "mãe".
