Seria inconveniente para a maioria dos alunos mudar para outros assuntos neste momento.

Como b_jonas apontou: Umbridge teria nomeado um novo professor de Adivinhação. Esse professor seria, sem dúvida, pior que Firenze e também outro espião do Ministério. Além disso, acredito que a verdadeira razão pela qual Dumbledore nomeou Firenze era que ele estava impedindo Umbridge de remover Trelawney de Hogwarts por completo.
