Os elfos domésticos parecem ser extraordinariamente poderosos, se estão fazendo isso por seus mestres.

Por exemplo, em Harry Potter e as Relíquias da Morte, depois de Kreacher ter contado suas experiências na caverna do mar: ^{_{toda ênfase adicionada}}

‘How did you get away?’ Harry asked, and he was not surprised to hear himself whispering.

Kreacher raised his ugly head and looked at Harry with his great, bloodshot eyes. ‘Master Regulus told Kreacher to come back,’ he said.

‘I know – but how did you escape the Inferi?’

Kreacher did not seem to understand. ‘Master Regulus told Kreacher to come back,’ he repeated.

‘I know, but –’

‘Well, it’s obvious, isn’t it, Harry?’ said Ron. ‘He Disapparated!’

‘But ... you couldn’t Apparate in and out of that cave,’ said Harry, ‘otherwise Dumbledore –’

‘Elf magic isn’t like wizard’s magic, is it?’ said Ron. ‘I mean, they can Apparate and Disapparate in and out of Hogwarts when we can’t.’

Para mim, isso parece indicar que a ordem de seu mestre é maior para os elfos domésticos do que quaisquer alas montadas para impedir o desaparecimento, permitindo-lhes "fazer o impossível". “You dirty little monkey!” bawled Bellatrix. “How dare you take a witch’s wand, how dare you defy your masters?”

“Dobby has no master!” squealed the elf. “Dobby is a free elf, and Dobby has come to save Harry Potter and his friends!”

Parece-me que estas são criaturas incrivelmente poderosas que defenderão seus mestres.

Por que um elfo doméstico não pode receber uma ordem semelhante à seguinte:

Dobby, Voldemort is trying to kill Harry Potter and has already attempted to do so several times.

We must not let this happen.

Find Mundungus, disarm him, get the horcrux from him and destroy it (using the sword of Griffindor if necessary), then deliver Mundungus to Dumbledore for punishment.

Destroy Nagini without being caught, seen or hurt in any way.

Find the remaining horcruxes and destroy them using any manner required, while minimising damage to surroundings as much as possible.

If any horcruxes are in people, find a way to destroy the horcrux without causing the person any long-term damage.

Kill Voldemort and his willing Death Eaters, and disarm and capture the unwilling Death Eaters.

Do not get hurt in any way, do not get caught, do not get seen.

Onde há limites para o poder dos elfos domésticos que impediram que uma ordem como a acima fosse usada? _{Por exemplo, houve alguma situação em que os elfos domésticos não pudessem cumprir uma ordem?}

Ou foi apenas o hábito natural dos magos ignorar as criaturas mágicas 'inferiores' não humanas, tais como os goblins e os elfos domésticos, que impediram que a ordem fosse dada?

Não se esqueça de que Kreacher não conseguiu destruir o medalhão da Sonserina Horcrux na primeira vez.

'And he told Kreacher - to go home - and never to tell my mistress - what he had done - but to destroy - the first locket.'

Ele se afastou daquela caverna porque Voldemort ignorou a magia dos elfos, não porque eles são mini-deuses. Só porque as regras que governam a Aparição Elfo-Doméstica são um pouco diferentes daquelas que governam a Aparição, não significa que elas possam fazer qualquer coisa.

Pequena correção em relação à caverna.

“Elf magic isn’t like wizard’s magic, is it?” said Ron, “I mean, they can Apparate and Disapparate in and out of Hogwarts when we can’t.”

There was a silence as Harry digested this. How could Voldemort have made such a mistake? But even as he thought this, Hermione spoke, and her voice was icy.

“Of course, Voldemort would have considered the ways of house-elves far beneath his notice. It would never have occurred to him that they might have magic that he didn’t.”

Monstro não saiu mais cedo porque seu mestre (Regulus) não lhe pediu para voltar. Ele voltou quando seu mestre o chamou de volta.

Encontre Mundungo, desarme-o, pegue o horcrux dele e o destrua (usando a espada de Griffindor se necessário), então entregue Mundungo para Dumbledore para punição.

Harry pediu a Kreacher para fazer algo similar.

Os elfos domésticos foram usados na batalha de hogwarts. Diz no livro que enquanto Harry estava "supostamente" morto, Monstro levou os elfos domésticos para a batalha e eles estavam segurando facas e usando magia contra os Comensais da Morte. Ele também disse que Monstro estava cantando 'luta pelo mestre, que é o defensor dos elfos domésticos. Lute luta de luta. '

Eu tropecei nisso enquanto satisfazia algumas curiosidades sobre elfos domésticos:

Monstro lidera os elfos domésticos na batalha final contra Voldemort, então não sei por que você pensaria do contrário.
