Provavelmente Sindarin

Certamente não era Khuzdul, como Mîm diz que eles não ensinam essa língua, mais ainda, Mim é descrito como inicialmente falando uma língua estrangeira:

They have no name, save in the dwarf-tongue, which we do not teach

They led the old Dwarf away to their dismal camp, and as he went he muttered in a strange tongue that seemed harsh with ancient hatred;

Beleg também pôde chamar Mîm quando ele fugiu em Sindarin:

Parece que Mîm realmente falava sindarin, dada esta passagem de Narn i Hîn Húrin de Contos Inacabados:

Then Mîm clapsed Túrin about his knees, saying: "Mîm will be your friend, lord. At first I thought you were an Elf, by your speech and your voice; but if you are a Man, that is better. Mîm does not love Elves."

Isso indica que Túrin provavelmente falava sindarin na época. Como não há indicação de que ele tenha trocado de idioma durante o episódio, concluo que toda a conversa ocorre no sindarin.
