Arya e Sandor Clegane (The Hound) viram Polliver e The Tickler e um de seus associados na Inn at the Crossroads . O tom de Sandor era brusco para os homens reunidos, que estavam apontando que agora ele tinha um preço significativo em sua cabeça, depois de sua deserção dos Lannister na batalha de Porto Real. Inevitavelmente, uma luta campal irrompeu.
Sandor mata Polliver muito rapidamente, mas sofreu uma ferida na perna, como ele está lutando The Tickler Arya pega uma lâmina & esfaqueia-o por trás e termina com uma série de facadas, enquanto grita as perguntas que ele fez das pessoas que ele matou.

She knew what he meant. Arya went to Polliver and knelt in his blood long enough to undo his swordbelt. Hanging beside his dagger was a slimmer blade, too long to be a dirk, too short to be a man’s sword … but it felt just right in her hand.
“You remember where the heart is?” the Hound asked. She nodded.
The squire rolled his eyes. “Mercy.”
Needle slipped between his ribs and gave it to him.
