Por que Grindenwald ainda possui a varinha mais velha? [duplicado]

Meu pensamento inicial seria que o Elder Wand foi realizado no MACUSA junto com Grindelwald, no entanto, parece que Grindelwald de alguma forma escondeu sua varinha da captura, aparentemente eles apenas "encontraram" uma vez que ele seria transportado.

Now fully transformed, GRINDELWALD Disapparates from the underside of the carriage...
