Sim, quebra a invisibilidade

Por capítulo mágico do livro principal:

All offensive combat actions, even those that don't damage opponents, are considered attacks. Attempts to channel energy count as attacks if it would harm any creatures in the area. All spells that opponents resist with saving throws, that deal damage, or that otherwise harm or hamper subjects are attacks. Spells that summon monsters or other allies are not attacks because the spells themselves don't harm anyone.

Ênfase minha. Usar Intimidar contra um inimigo é uma opção de combate ofensiva, por isso quebraria sua invisibilidade.

Eu não tenho fontes, nem tenho muita experiência, mas como parece não ser bem-vindo ter respostas parciais nos comentários, aqui vou com uma resposta:

Sugiro que você determine isso por situação. Se o jogador tentar intimidar alguém fazendo algo que mostre onde ele está, por exemplo fazendo um barulho, role para a percepção do alvo com um CD apropriadamente duro ou fácil. Eu não diria, neste caso, que a invisibilidade termina, mas os inimigos estão temporariamente cientes da localização aproximada se eles rodarem o suficiente.

Parece que o 5e PHB não permitiria que eles fizessem um teste - mas essa não é a edição que você pediu e eu não tenho o pathfinder à mão.

An invisible creature is impossible to see without the aid of magic or a special sense. For the purpose of hiding, the creature is heavily obscured. The creature’s location can be detected by any noise it makes or any tracks it leaves. (PHB p. 291, Conditions)
