Nós não testemunhamos muitas previsões, mas pelo menos a de Gitara sobre Rand, ela estava gritando sobre o que ela estava predizendo - o nascimento de Rand. Sempre tem que ser assim? Alguém poderia ter uma previsão sem que ninguém soubesse se ficou quieto?

Não, nem todas as Predições são tão barulhentas e violentas. Para provas, podemos olhar para o outro proeminente Foreteller na série: Elaida.

Muitas das ações de Elaida foram baseadas em uma previsão na "linhagem real de Andor" seria a chave para vencer a Última Batalha; que a Predizer dirige muitas de suas decisões durante a série, inclusive por que ela se ligou tão intimamente a Morgase e insistiu tanto que Elayne fosse encontrado e voltasse para a Torre. Está muito strongmente implícito que ninguém mais sabe disso, pois acredita-se que ela o interpretou mal, mas essa possibilidade nunca é levantada nos romances.

Embora sua predição seja talvez ainda mais chocante e terrível que a de Gitara Moroso, ela não apenas não grita mas retém o controle de a si mesma, na medida em que ela pode falar em voz baixa o suficiente para garantir que ninguém, exceto Rand, ouça-a :

"This I Foretell," Elaida replied, "and swear under the Light that I can say no clearer. From this day Andor marches toward pain and division.
