Nos episódios três, quatro, cinco e seis de Star Wars, Darth Vader é às vezes chamado Lord Vader. O que esse título, "Senhor", representa?
Neste ponto da história de Star Wars, o conhecimento dos Jedi é supostamente escasso, então duvido que dificilmente alguém possa saber dos Sith, ou chamar um mestre Sith de um Lord das Trevas (dos Sith), então sendo este um indicador de nobreza parece um trecho. Mesmo se alguém dissesse que Anakin era casado com Padme, pouquíssimas pessoas no universo sabiam quem Darth Vader realmente consideraria usar esse link.
Então o título "Senhor" deveria representar uma posição em uma hierarquia? Algo parecido com chamar um sob um rei um duque? Se esse é o caso, ele não deveria ter sido chamado Rei Vader, assumindo que ele ocupava a próxima posição lógica abaixo do Imperador?
