Como o Prometheus está conectado ao Alien vs. Predator no sentido cronológico?

Prometheus is considered by both Ridley Scott and the film's producers to be the first film in the Alien series.

É claro que Ridley Scott nunca a favor de Alien vs. Predator Franchise e essa é a razão pela qual seu filme Prometheus só se conectou a Alien Franchise, ele não tem nenhuma conexão com Alien vs. Predator filmes.

Development of the film began in the early 2000s as a fifth installment in the Alien franchise. Scott and director James Cameron developed ideas for a film that would serve as a prequel to Scott's 1979 science fiction horror film Alien. By 2003, the development of Alien vs. Predator took precedence, and the project remained dormant until 2009 when Scott again showed interest. Spaihts wrote a script for a prequel to the events of the Alien films, but Scott opted for a different direction to avoid repeating cues from those films. In late 2010, Lindelof joined the project to rewrite Spaihts's script, and he and Scott developed a story that precedes the story of Alien but is not directly connected to that franchise. According to Scott, although the film shares "strands of Alien's DNA, so to speak", and takes place in the same universe, Prometheus explores its own mythology and ideas.

Portanto, é claro que Prometheus é uma sequela do primeiro filme alienígena e pode ser mais um filme Prometheus que preenche a lacuna entre o filme First Alien e o Prometheus e o AVP é como um spinoff.

Eu não sou um escritor de filmes, mas devo dizer que, ao assistir o filme Prometheus, eu pensei ter visto uma conexão com Predator e Alien também.

Se você se lembrar da parte em que o membro da tripulação estava infectado e começou a se sentir mal e começou a trocar de roupa, eles o incendiaram do lado do navio.

Se você se lembra de suas características faciais e a força humana além do normal, só queria jogar esse pensamento lá fora.

Se bem me lembro, Prometheus deveria ser uma sequela da série Alien antes da série Alien V Predator, que ironicamente apesar de ser considerada separada, ambos os filmes AVP apresentaram Weyland em AVP e Yutani em AVP2. Em vez disso, o diretor de Prometheus tentou usar Weyland como uma âncora para a missão em que isso ocorreu, que era como uma prequel para o vírus e um número de tais características de criatura interestelar. Enquanto parece que o diretor reconheceu, a conexão de Weyland como também a máquina usada pelo Engenheiro em Prometheus, e isto acrescenta um terceiro fator como com seu capacete em fósforos a terceira seita de espécies estranhas que desprezam os XTs aka Xenos e humanidade e discutido e apareceu em Alien: Earth Hive e Alien: Nightmare Asylum ou a novela de Steve Perry. Com a franquia de filmes Alien, Prometheus seria uma sequência indireta devido a Weyland, o alienígena presumivelmente King, e o Engineer (que na máquina espelha aquele encontrado morto em Alien) (E efetivamente salvou a vida de Wilks presumivelmente na casa alienígena) mundo enquanto a terra é invadida por uma rainha alienígena já estando na terra). AVP obviamente antecede a Weyland-Yutani Corporation, também conhecida como The Corporation.
