O que causou a queda da árvore genealógica de Lestrange?

Durante a cena do mausoléu, Leta revela a árvore genealógica de Lestrange, contando os acontecimentos do que aconteceu com Corvus. Tive a impressão de que à medida que a árvore genealógica crescia, estava se desenvolvendo em sua forma atual e é por isso que o nódulo de Corvus definhava no final e não imediatamente. No entanto, em uma resposta recente minha um usuário comentou que eles achavam que Leta tinha realmente definhado a árvore.

Olhando para o roteiro oficial , temos muito pouca informação, infelizmente.

...the drowning baby falling through sea-green light, hanging in the air in the mausoleum. LETA has conjured it. It has haunted her all her life and now she shows it to them.

Agora, pode ser apenas um momento muito conveniente que a história terminou quando aconteceu a tempo de mostrar que o nó Corvus estava murchando ou Leta poderia ter feito isso. O que causou o nó Corvus na árvore genealógica a murchar e morrer?

A árvore Lestrange provavelmente secou sozinha.

Parece muito provável que o galho de Corvus Jr. na árvore genealógica de Lestrange tenha definhado como parte da magia na árvore, já que Leta foi ao ministério francês para consegui-lo, para que pudesse esconder evidências sobre a morte de Corvus.
