Um 20 natural é sempre um hit que mostra pelo menos 12 no d20. Se os números indicassem a rolagem natural, não haveria necessidade de adicionar "ou nat 20" após 12+. A intenção, portanto, parece ser um total de jogadas de ataque, pelo menos, X sobre o MD .

Pedi esclarecimento ao designer de jogos, Rob Heinsoo:

When cleric's Turn Undead says "Hit by 8+" does it mean "hit, and the natural roll was 8 or higher" or "hit, and exceeded the target's MD by 8 or more"? It's the only place in the book that uses that phrasing, so I want to be sure.
