Que grande feiticeiro é Cornelius Fudge?

Se você está perguntando sobre suas capacidades de bruxo, eu diria que ele não é considerado um assistente excepcional por nenhum padrão. Aqui está um exemplo em que Dumbledore bate facilmente em Fudge, dois bruxos e uma bruxa (todos do Ministério da Magia) na tentativa de prendê-lo (Dumbledore):

“Enough of this rubbish!” said Fudge, pulling out his own wand. “Dawlish! Shacklebolt! Take him!”

A streak of silver light flashed around the room. There was a bang like a gunshot, and the floor trembled. A hand grabbed the scruff of Harry’s neck and forced him down on the floor as a second silver flash went off—several of the portraits yelled, Fawkes screeched, and a cloud of dust filled the air...

Panting slightly, Harry saw a very tall figure moving toward them. “Are you all right?” said Dumbledore.

“Yes!” said Professor McGonagall, getting up and dragging Harry and Marietta with her.

The dust was clearing. The wreckage of the office loomed into view: Dumbledore’s desk had been overturned, all of the spindly tables had been knocked to the floor, their silver instruments in pieces. Fudge, Umbridge, Kingsley, and Dawlish lay motionless on the floor.

Se ele tivesse qualquer tipo de habilidade mágica superior, ele não seria derrotado tão facilmente, mesmo que Dumbledore seja considerado o melhor bruxo da geração.

"So Cornelius Fudge got the top job, and Crouch was shunted sideways into the Department of International Magical Cooperation.”

Quanto a saber se ele é um membro respeitado da sociedade mágica, bem, ele foi por um tempo. Mas em Ordem da Fênix vemos Harry e Arthur Weasley especulando sobre ele recebendo propinas de Malfoy. Há também o negócio de Fudge recusando-se a acreditar que Voldemort havia retornado no final do quarto livro, e seu assédio a Harry, Dumbledore e conhecidos simpatizantes de Dumbledore pela maioria do 5º livro. / p>

(First Class) for defeating the Dark wizard Grindelwald, there was a good deal of muttering in the wizarding community when Cornelius Fudge, Minister for Magic, awarded himself an O.M. (First Class) for a career that many considered less than distinguished. Other less worthy recipients of the highest class of Order include Arcturus Black, Sirius Black’s grandfather, who was widely believed to have bought it by loaning the Ministry a large amount of gold.

Fudge é uma decepção, na verdade. IMO, ele não é melhor que qualquer outro bruxo e ele é um típico político. Se você está no terceiro livro, você já deveria ter lido como ele estava no Caldeirão Furado, e ele é corrupto, subornando e sendo subornado, mesmo, das pessoas certas.

Quando você estiver perto do final do quarto livro, Harry terá uma revelação de Fudge que eu compartilharei com ele, e não fiquei feliz.

Ele pode ser um Auror (supondo que você precisa estar em uma posição de alto escalão no Ministério), mas ele nunca mostra esse tipo de talento mágico a qualquer momento da série.
