Create Thrall

At 14th level, you gain the ability to infect a humanoid’s mind with the alien magic of your patron. You can use your action to touch an incapacitated humanoid. That creature is then charmed by you until a remove curse spell is cast on it, the charmed condition is removed from it, or you use this feature again.

You can communicate telepathically with the charmed creature as long as the two of you are on the same plane of existence.

Minha pergunta é simples: como você pode detectar essa condição? Um feitiço de detecção de magia ou visão verdadeira funciona? (A habilidade não diz que é mágica ou mesmo um feitiço). Algum outro método?

Detectar Magia funcionará

Como você citou, a primeira frase de Criar Thrall afirma especificamente que é mágico (minha ênfase):

At 14th level, you gain the ability to infect a humanoid’s mind with the alien magic of your patron.

É claro que isso é mágico e, portanto, deve ser detectado por detectar mágica.

For the duration, you sense the presence of magic within 30 feet of you.

Mas o que vai dizer?

Infelizmente, não há muito RAW, apenas que há mágica lá. Caberá aos jogadores / Mestre determinar se algo mais será divulgado e o que isso seria - ou fornecer pistas para isso, se eles não quiserem divulgá-lo completamente.
