Novela sobre uma guerra entre americanos e russos na Antártica?

Como Gilles aponta, essa não é uma configuração de enredo única. Um livro relativamente obscuro que o explora é "Continente branco" (1980), de David Poyer (2) No entanto, embora um livro escolhido aleatoriamente seja obscuro, um livro escolhido aleatoriamente leitura não é. Então, vou apostar que essa foi uma história de um autor de ficção científica bastante bem publicado.

A novela "Uma guerra mais fria" (2000) de Charles Stross seria, então, um bom ajuste (4) É verdade que a história se passa em todo o mundo, mas inclui algum tipo de coisa sobrenatural que vale a pena brigar e que está localizada no antártico.
