Vader chega em um destruidor de estrelas padrão porque o imperador está usando O Executor como seu próprio navio de comando. Ele chega alguns dias depois, presumivelmente tendo tirado um tempo para visitar um spa, fazer algumas coisas turísticas e geralmente relaxar antes de descer para o âmago da questão de inspirar um terror abjeto em sua força de trabalho da Estrela da Morte.
