I'm remodeling my main floor bathroom in my 1930s house and am trying to simplify the venting as the current roof vent leaks. I also moved the toilet approximately 12" from it's previous location and am going to be moving the vanity about 12" also.
Instead of trying to tie back into the existing copper vents as shown in the existing picture, can I simply eliminate the toilet vent and replace the sink vent with an AAV as shown in the proposed picture? Code allows AAVs here.
If none of this makes sense, I can try and explain more or take pictures. This is my first time posting here. Thanks.
