Is initiative just Dex?
Initiative is a Dexterity check. If the hex spell or anything else imposes disadvantage on your Dex. checks, initiative is affected.
Is initiative an ability check or saving throw?
Related trivia: A Death Save is a saving throw (and thus benefits from a Ring of Protection, for example). Initiative is a Dexterity ability check (so the Bard gets half proficiency to it with Jack of All Trades). Can you inspire initiative? Initiative is an ability check, or so I've learned. Ability checks can be enhanced by inspiration.
Can Paladins raise the dead?
Bards, clerics and paladins all get access to raise dead, but the paladin won't be able to cast it until 17th level. Raise dead can be cast within 10 days of a character's death, so a PC doesn't have to prepare it every day. Can a wizard learn revivify? It says in the PHB that you can learn spells that are found during your adventures if you spend the time and components (50 gp per level of spell) to learn the spell and copy it into your spellbook. In LMOP you can find a scroll of revivify.
What level do you get 7th level spells?
Level 13 is just the first level you can learn 7th level spells. Is a breath weapon a bonus action? What do you think? Short answer, no. The bonus attack for a second weapon triggers off using the "Attack action" (with a light weapon etc). The lightning breath might be considered an attack for other purposes, but it is definitely not the Attack action.
Can you counterspell Dragons Breath?
Yes, you can cast polymorph on a familiar from find familiar. Can you twin spell Dragon's Breath? RAW: Yes. RAI: No. Basically the designers made a booboo and dropped the ball with twinned spell and how it works.
What is the difference between Invisibility and greater Invisibility?
The ability to attack without ending the spell vs being able to cast the spell on other individuals also is basically the difference. Essentially Invisibility is a "fact finding/hiding/traveling unseen" spell whereas Greater Invisibility is more of a combat spell.
