Como Harry conseguiu cortar o cabelo em Hogwarts?

Tio Vernon no cabelo de Harry

Se o cabelo de Harry crescesse tão rápido o tempo todo, ele precisaria de um corte de cabelo todos os dias para não acabar com o cabelo até os joelhos. Mas isso não acontece. Isso é porque o cabelo de Harry não cresce extraordinariamente rápido; ele regride magicamente rápido em resposta aos cortes de cabelo indesejados que ele recebe, seja do barbeiro ou de sua tia Petúnia.

Note que o livro não menciona tia Petúnia tendo para cortar o cabelo para mantê-lo sob controle; ela simplesmente quer cortá-lo porque ela não gosta do jeito que ele usa.

Algumas linhas adiante no capítulo, lemos como um suéter que Harry não quer usar magicamente encolhe. No entanto, suas outras roupas não encolhem o tempo todo.

Conclusão

Não há necessidade de acordos especiais com barbeiros em Hogwarts. Harry pode cortar o cabelo da mesma maneira que todos os alunos.

Cortes de cabelo mágicos

Não se faz nenhuma menção de como os alunos de Hogwarts - ou mesmo magos em geral - cortam o cabelo, mas isso pode ser feito por magia, como mostra a seguinte citação, embora não se descarte que isso seja feito mecanicamente também. .

Meu pensamento é que sim, cortes de cabelo acontecem magicamente no mundo mágico. E como é sugerido que as pessoas consigam um corte a cada 6-8 semanas, meu único pensamento é que deve haver alguém em Hogwarts para fazê-lo. Minha única resposta aqui é que Ron possivelmente nunca precisou aprender o feitiço (Sra. Weasley) e Harry provavelmente nunca pegou o jeito (sendo apenas medíocre). Hermione, no entanto, provavelmente sabia o feitiço, mas não estava confiante em seu trabalho de varinha para cortar o cabelo. Então, se esse feitiço é tão complicado e mimado, talvez Hogwarts tenha um barbeiro / cabeleireiro mágico especial vindo uma vez por semana ou uma vez por mês para dar aos alunos cortes de cabelo.
