Eu estou especificamente me referindo à primeira série serial da The Dalek Invasion of Earth , não de qualquer dos seus. muitas tentativas subsequentes de invadir a Terra.

Infelizmente, não me lembro de ninguém mencionando por que os Daleks gostariam de mover a Terra para qualquer outro lugar no cosmos.

Não parece uma maneira muito eficiente de construir uma nave espacial super-enorme. Não é muito útil como arma. Se eles apenas querem fazer coisas más para a humanidade, existem opções muito mais simples. E não há indicação de que eles estão ficando sem espaço no Skaro. Então, alguma ideia?

De acordo com as Novas Aventuras "O Motor de Deus", um grupo dos Guerreiros do Gelo ofereceu aos Daleks o uso do "Motor de Deus" em troca do controle de Marte por si mesmos. Foi necessária uma massa planetária para apoiá-la contra os campos subespaciais que ela gerava, os quais só funcionavam na ausência de um campo magnético bipolar, e era por isso que os Daleks pretendiam remover o núcleo magnético da Terra. A história é interessante se apenas porque fez uma falha fatal no sci fi, isso fez os Daleks tecnicamente muito impressionantes, contraste com eles na Terra quando (por exemplo) no fundo da mina, um Dalek ergue o olho como uma antena para melhorar recepção!

DALEK TIME CONTROLLER: All life on all planets.

THE DOCTOR: Has it ever occurred to you that your trip through eternity might have evaporated your sanity, if you ever had any.

DALEK TIME CONTROLLER: The plague planet Earth will be piloted first to the home planets of all races which threaten Dalek supremacy. Every world that comes under its gravitational influence will be fatally infected, all populations wiped out.
