Descendo minhas teto para executar algum fio para novas saídas. As saídas estão indo em uma área com um teto inacabado, então eu sei que a romex precisa ser executada através das vigas quando for perpendicular, para chegar ao seu destino.

No caminho para a caixa do disjuntor, ela está passando por um teto acabado. Naquela parte do teto acabado, notei que alguém basicamente usava pregos, virava-os de lado e usava para prender o romex (grampo feito em casa).

Isso me fez pensar se eu não tinha

e economizasse uma tonelada de trabalho. Eu sei que o código é provavelmente para impedir que as pessoas pendurem coisas na romex quando se trata de tetos inacabados, mas ainda assim. Eu usaria grampos isolados em vez de unhas, mas o conceito é a minha pergunta.

Você pode passar cabos através e sob as vigas. Se você fizer isso, você deve instalá-los em placas de execução para proteção. Normalmente, é mais fácil perfurar.

Nonmetallic-sheathed cable installed on the wall of an unfinished basement shall be permitted to be installed in a listed conduit or tubing or shall be protected in accordance with 300.4. Conduit or tubing shall be provided with a suitable insulating bushing or adapter at the point the cable enters the raceway. The sheath of the nonmetallic-sheathed cable shall extend through the conduit or tubing and into the outlet or device box not less than 6 mm (¼ in.). The cable shall be secured within 300 mm (12 in.) of the point where the cable enters the conduit or tubing. Metal conduit, tubing, and metal outlet boxes shall be connected to an equipment grounding conductor complying with the provisions of 250.86 and 250.148.

Se eu entendi o que você está pedindo, não há problema em grampear romex ao longo da lateral de uma viga de piso a uma distância segura da borda para proteger de parafusos ou pregos. Não é aceitável "feixe cruzado", o que significa amarrar o feixe de arame para passar por baixo deles. É quando você precisa fazer furos. Tanto quanto usar pregos dobrados como fixadores. Isso soa como uma má ideia, já que o prego dobrado pode apertar ou danificar o cabo e pode não dar a você um suporte seguro.
