Há um pequeno filme de TV que eu lembro de ter visto quando criança, que achei que era realmente assustador e nunca descobri o que era. Alguém pode ajudar a nomenciá-lo?

Eu me lembro de ver isso na televisão por volta de 15 a 20 anos atrás no Reino Unido, mas tenho certeza que foi feito um filme americano. Era sobre um homem que descobriu que sempre que ele via um reflexo de si mesmo (por exemplo, em garrafas, vidro, janelas), uma pequena figura negra estava atrás dele. Quando ele se virou, não havia nada. No começo, ele achou engraçado, mas à medida que se aproximava, ficou mais assustado e evitou olhar para qualquer coisa reflexiva. No final, ficou insuportável e ele ficou em um espelho e deixou vir para ele.

Alguma parte de mim acredita que pode ter um link para Steven Spielberg, mas isso pode ser uma pista falsa? Também estou quase certo de que este não foi um episódio de Outer Limits ou Twighlight Zone, mas um programa independente, já que eu vi quase todos os episódios de ambos.

The plot is centered around Jordan Manmoth (Sam Waterston), a author of horror novels. One day, following an appearance on The Dick Cavett Show, he mistreats a young fan awaiting his idol at his doorstep, and soon thereafter begins to see a phantom-like character approaching him whenever he looks in the mirror or any reflective surface. Nobody else can see the monster, even when they look into the same mirror at the same time as Jordan. At the end of the episode, Jordan inadvertently sees his reflection in his girlfriend Karen's (Helen Shaver) eye; at this point, the phantom in the reflection grabs him from behind and begins to strangle him. To Karen, it seems that Jordan is strangling himself, but then Jordan turns into the phantom in the physical world. Discovering what he has become, Jordan throws himself from the upper-story bedroom window, leaving Karen horror-stricken.
