O ode a Ray Bradbury pelo comediante Rachel Bloom foi Nomeado para um Hugo Award em 2011. É bastante NSFW, intitulado "F * ck Me, Ray Bradbury", então não vou incluir o vídeo do YouTube aqui.

As duas primeiras palavras foram provavelmente exageradas para efeitos cômicos.

Mas ela realmente aprecia tanto o Ray Bradbury, ou ela queria homenagear um grande escritor do SF em geral e escolheu o Bradbury por motivos artísticos, como seu nome soou na música? ? (Ao contrário de "eu quero fazer amor, com Asimov").

Rachel Bloom deixou claro em várias entrevistas que Ray Bradbury é seu escritor favorito.

Como ela disse em The Dallas Observer :

"I was re-reading The Martian Chronicles that summer, which is one of my favorite books, (...)"

E em Wired :

"I would say very earnestly that I am overwhelmed with how well he combines such mind-blowingly cool ideas with the realism of how humans deal with these ideas," she told Booktryst. "That's what struck me especially about Martian Chronicles or The Illustrated Man.... I found myself as emotionally engaged as I was mentally. If I really met him, I would be nothing but respectful and probably like the 12-year-old boy I secretly am inside."
