Nós (principalmente) todos sabemos que quando a segunda Estrela da Morte foi destruída, choveu detritos em chamas para sempre mudando o destino de aquela lua . A maioria das contas estima que toda a vida na lua de Endor seria aniquilada.

O que poderia ter sido feito para evitar essa catástrofe?

De acordo com o feed oficial do Twitter de Star Wars , a Rebelião implantou um número substancial de navios no trator qualquer pedaço de matar o planeta fora do caminho do perigo.

Supondo que a segunda Estrela da Morte sofreu o mesmo nível de destruição que a primeira Estrela da Morte, então os pedaços de material remanescente teriam sido realmente muito pequenos, com a maior parte da estação se canibalizando para alimentar a explosão energética.

Space filled temporarily with trillions of microscopic metal fragments, propelled past the retreating ships by the liberated energy of a small artificial sun. Observe que quando essa estação é destruída, a explosão inicial parece liberar uma grande quantidade de material, mas a massa presumivelmente fica nas proximidades e foi consumida pelos espasmos finais do gerador de energia do navio.
