Por que Jon Snow não reconheceu Summer?

Ele fez nos livros, embora talvez não até depois do evento. Aqui está uma citação de Jon I, Uma Dança com Dragões, onde Jon está recordando seus irmãos Dirigentes,

At Queenscrown [where the fight and flight from the wildlings took place], one had come out of the darkness to save Jon’s life. Summer, it had to be.

Talvez ele tenha feito, mas isso importa? Ele acha que ambos os seus irmãos mais novos estão mortos naquele momento e ele pode ter acreditado que Summer o salvou sozinho. O verão nem sequer ficou até o final da luta, então Jon não teve tempo para se reconciliar com o Lobo Direto.
