Por exemplo: Shadow Fallen conhece o Fato A e, portanto, o Real Fallen também conhece o Fato A automaticamente.
Ou é a única maneira que os Caídos podem aprender isso, o anfitrião da Sombra vai pegar a moeda - eles ficam no escuro até / se isso potencialmente acontecer?

Dito isto, pessoalmente eu me inclinaria a não por causa do que aconteceu perto do final de Small Favor

Quando alguém pega uma moeda, há uma conexão feita entre a mente do titular e a entidade na moeda e uma impressão (uma cópia básica) dos Caídos é colocada em sua mente.
Além disso, deve haver contato constante para que o portador da moeda possa explorar todo o poder e habilidades dos Caídos. É por isso que todo KoBD coloca a moeda em contato direto (incluindo, por exemplo, colocá-la sob a pele ou engoli-la constantemente).

Então, para usar a analogia do OP: Fallen conhece o fato A, assim Shadow também sabe. Mas o fluxo reverso está acontecendo apenas ao segurar a moeda.

Pode-se reiterar que, com qualquer conexão Fallen-Shadow acima, não seria possível.
