1. 3. Dumbledore melhorou bastante a vida de Lupin deixando-o entrar em Hogwarts, fazendo com que Lupin o mantivesse em alta estima. Essa possibilidade parece menos provável, considerando que Dumbledore ajudou Hagrid quase da mesma maneira e Hagrid não disse "Voldemort". Cada personagem é único e o respeito de Lupin por Dumbledore pode ter o encorajado a ser como Dumbledore (ou seja, dizendo "Voldemort"), enquanto Hagrid pode não responder da mesma forma.
