Não existe tal diálogo, parece

Restringindo ao cânone, não consigo localizar um diálogo formal entre Data e Geordi. (Eu ficarei feliz por alguém com uma melhor lembrança de qualquer minuto de diálogo, ou melhor Google-Fu, para encontrar um exemplo.)

Já em "The Naked Now" (Temporada 1, Episódio 2), ouvimos Data se referir a La Forge simplesmente como "Geordi":

RIKER: All I have is a vague memory of reading somewhere about someone taking a shower in his or her clothing.

DATA: Ah. The body Geordi discovered.

Então, em "Código de Honra" (Temporada 1, Episódio 3), já ouvimos Data e Geordi conversando uns com os outros de uma maneira informal e descontraída:

DATA: Why that razor, my friend? Why not the one I adjusted to perfect efficiency?

LA FORGE: Shaving is a human art form, Data. Technological perfection can shave too close.

Além disso, da mesma cena:

DATA: How do you know when something is funny?

LA FORGE: It's not explainable. You just do.

DATA: Perhaps it is you, Geordi. Includling the kiddillies, I've learned six hundred sixty two jokes, and you have not —

LA FORGE: Includling the kiddillies! Now, see, that's funny.

Parece, agora que penso nisso, que algo está faltando nos primeiros episódios TNG : como Data e La Forge se tornaram tão bons amigos? Aparentemente tal cena foi escrita, mas nunca foi filmada, de acordo com Levar Burton:

...and this is little-known Trek lore — in the audition sides for the character, during the casting process, there was a scene that Gene Roddenberry wrote between Geordi and Data, that established their relationship. And in that scene, Geordi and Data discussed how Geordi's eyes and Data's brain saw the world in a very similar way. They saw the truth of the world around them. And so, in the scene that Gene wrote, they formed a team, and they called themselves the Perceivers, because their perceptions were alike.

And even though the Perceivers thing never made it to the pilot episode, the relationship between Geordi and Data certainly did.

Sem essa cena, nós simplesmente encontramos Data e La Forge se comunicando em termos informais, e ficaram imaginando quando eles abandonaram as formalidades.

Os dados abordam diretamente Geordi como 'Comandante La Forge' em pelo menos duas ocasiões (embora o primeiro seja um fudge desde que ele entrou em contato com ele em nome da Enterprise).

Quanto ao Tenente Comandante La Forge referindo-se ao Tenente Comandante Data (o Segundo Oficial do navio) como "Senhor", deve-se notar que nenhum dos dois classifica após a promoção de La Forge Tenente Comandante menos de um ano na corrida do show
