The Sith's quest to gain power was ultimately their undoing, as the dark side made them turn against one another. Within a year, the Jedi managed to defeat the infighting Sith, bringing what was left of the dark order to its knees. However, one Sith, Darth Bane, survived.

The only other Sith we've seen using Force lightning in the movies is Count Dooku, otherwise known as Darth Tyranus. He used the power against Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Master Yoda in Episode II: Attack of the Clones. What do the Sith believe? The Sith believe almost the exact opposite of the Jedi. They believe the Force is simply a power to be claimed, and used for their personal gain. Their emotions are the direct source of their power. Who is Sith acolyte?
Sith Acolyte was a rank within the Sith Order prior to Darth Bane's reformation. The term was used to refer to Force-sensitive apprentices who had only just started on the dark path under the tutelage of a more experienced Sith Lord to rightfully bear the mantle of Sith. How many Sith are there? While many Sith Lords are mentioned, only six are detailed in canon: Bane, Plagueis, Sidious, Maul, Tyranus, and Vader. In addition to these Sith Lords, there are a number of other fallen Jedi, apprentices, and dark Force users.
What do Sith call their masters?
Throughout Sith history, the Master held the titles Sith Lord and Dark Lord of the Sith. In Darth Revan's Sith Empire, Sith Masters held the rank of Sith Lord, but only the strongest Master ruled as Dark Lord of the Sith.
