Where do White Walkers come from?
The White Walkers are leaders of an ice zombie horde known as "wights" seemingly intent on destroying the world of men. They come from the far North, deep beyond The Wall, but have been organized under the rule of the Night King and are making their way south to Westeros as we speak.
Is the white king a Targaryen?

Why do White Walkers want babies?
The White Walkers were often portrayed as a shadowy threat during early seasons, and it was revealed in season 3 that Wilding Craster gave up his male children - born of incestuous relationships with his own daughters - as sacrifices to the Walkers in exchange for being left in peace in the Haunted Forest. Why did Sam give Jorah Heartsbane?
Heartsbane was given to Jorah by Samwell Tarly because Ser Jorah's father cared for Tarly during his tenure as Lord Commander of the Night's Watch. As Ser Jorah died protecting his queen, who owns Heartsbane now? Sam doesn't need it as he became a maester. Why did Sam take Heartsbane? Lord Randyll Tarly let his son and heir, Samwell Tarly, hold Heartsbane a few times, but the boy was afraid he would hurt his sisters. Randyll eventually disowned his pacific son, forcing Sam to take the black.
Why dont they go around the wall in Game of Thrones?
It would have been insane of the people who built the Wall to only put the magical charms to keep the White Walkers out on the actual Wall. They probably extended the barrier out into the sea on either side of it as well, thus preventing them from popping in a boat and going around. Can the White Walkers talk? Yes White Walkers can talk. In the show the language they use is called Skroth. It makes a sound like crackling ice similar to the books and we also see a White Walker communicate to the wights and other White Walkers when it screams near Sam.
What is the difference between White Walkers and wights?
The Difference
There are a small number of White Walkers, and they possess terrifying powers. Wights are a product of White Walkers, and they're essentially undead pawns that the White Walkers use to fight their battles.
